All Is Violent is an independent 3 piece band from Melbourne, Australia blending the genres of post-rock with post-metal.
Formed in mid 2017, AlV released their debut EP 'Cartographers of Human Purpose' on 11th of August 2019, a 3 song journey across transcendent soundscapes.
AIV have been compared to the likes of Russian Circles, Sleep Makes Waves, and Tangled Thoughts of Leaving.

I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here!
